There is ol leaking from the underside of the car. It appears to be coming from the oil pan, I think which seems to be easily accessible, Well to my untrained eye anyway. Any idea on how much it would cost to get a mechanic to replace this? new or second hand?

On a separate note I'm have trouble with my clutch. If I press to far on the accelerator the revs will go up but there is no power. If a press just enough it will run fine but obviously this means it is difficult to increase speed quickly (exiting junctions). Would anyone know what this fault is and give an estimate of how much that could end up costing? (guess work on second one I know).

    Cheers

your clutch is slipping so you would want to get that looked at straight away as it will eventually get so bad the clutch wont work and the car wont drive. the fact it revs up and the car has little power in this situation is a sign its slipping. Im not sure what a new clutch will cost im sure someone will know.

also is the oil just leaking from the sump nut it could just be loose.

I honestly don't know wat a sump nut is but I've dried all the oil from it so I can see the source in the morning hopefully. From what I could see from feeling around its at the front end. There is a tiny bit of rubber that's loose from where the joining is so I guess its seeping out there.

A secondhand sump including fitting and new oil and oil filter would probably cost you in the region of €150-170.

A three piece clutch kit consisting of disc, pressure plate and concentric slave cylinder plus new gearbox oil etc would be around €450 fitted.
