    Hi

Silly question but just wondering does anybody know if I would get wheel skewers through airport security in my hand luggage. Flying today and forgot to put them in my bike box that has been sent by courier

    Regards,

    Paul

I think it's very much up to the security person on duty. My other half once had a large allen wrench (the type you use for taking pedals off) confiscated.

    Evening,

Work in the industry. EU law prohibits sharp pointed objects in the security restricted area. Knitting needles etc..

You're better off checking it in. I know that's prob a pain but good chance of confiscation.

Good excuse to get some new expensive titanium/carbon ones! If they are confiscated you are thereby forced to upgrade.
