WOW no one uses this thread?

In reference to the Bargain posted @ http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=87476555&postcount=116

Definitly be getting a pair of these. I got a Sunice jacket last year from Halpenny on a similar reduction and it was a great investment. I'll go down and take a look this evening as to what sizes and availability there is, but €40 is a bargain. I paid €40 for the Goretex jacket I have, meaning I could potentially pay €80 for a set that RRP is over €400

What is so good about Sunice Doc. I've been looking for something very good for a while - between Imerilite - Galvin "Bloody""too many" Green.

    But was looking for gortex.

Yup Goretex is just the technology, I have goretex camoflauge for when I play airsoft, goretex winter jacket for work etc.

Sunice arn't and overly amazing brand, I just found them really comfortable, the rain just rolls of the jacket and I could swing properly in it.

Did a bit of research online and found cheap version of Golf pride multi compound grips.

    http://gamolagolf.co.uk/acatalog/Sharpro_Multicompound_Dual_Compound_Cord_Golf_Grips.html

Bought 10 Red/Black Sharpro grips for £35 sterling delivered.
Read online not sure if its true but they were the original multicompound grips and they licenced it to golf pride.

They are not the same as the golf pride grips - much stiffer rubber, nowhere near the same quality

Just a reminder lads, this thread is only for chat about posts in the Bargain Thread. Please dont post bargains here as it defeats the point in having two threads...

There's no point in trying to stir this one Greenbo don't think anyone is on this thread.

I will do a proper review when I get them as I have a Golf Pride grip on my Driver and PW.

McGuirks and H'Penny selling RBZ Bonded Driver for €129.

Can anyone advise, is this the same club as the RBZ 2012 Driver minus the ability to change loft and angle? Any one used it? Is it any good?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,711 ✭✭✭spacecoyote

I've the RBZ Stage 2 3-Wood, which can't be adjusted. Presuming its the Driver equivalent of this that you're looking at?

The 3-wood is a beast of a club if you're connecting well, a hit out of the centre would probably be comparable in distance to my driver. So if they driver delivers similar performance it would definitely be worth a look

Thats exactly what it is, no adaptar or adjustability.

I got the text from Halpenny about the 6pm to 9pm offer tonight.
What do they mean when the say "staff" prices?

Are these generally any better than the standard discounts that you get by signing up to get the text in the first place?

Was up in Airside tonight. Nothing amazing, I think the pre christmas sales were better.

Of note was the R1 at €199 but mcguirks were actually cheaper on the RBZ stage 2 for €170.

Brother managed to pick up an ex demo Covert Tour with a Matrix Ozik 7M3 Black Tie stiff shaft for €150 in McGuirks :)
