Anyone know who this Irish band were?

    A query about a music video I saw years ago on RTE,must have been 1985,84 ish.I think it was on one of those youth programmes like TV Gaga or something similar.Anyway the name of the song this band were doing was called "Street Heat",the band was a duo fronted by two guys who were dressed kind of like the Blues Brothers,shades, dark suits and the lead singer had a beard.The music vid had a few scenes of the singer sitting in a cafe talking to a girl who had very heavy punkish makeup.Does it ring a bell with anyone?

    I think they were called legal tender

    Could be them but the song that the band I remember playing wasen't an instrumental
    though its possible they released it in both formats.

    "Instrumental" would have been the B side.

    I saw a band fitting that description in kilkenny in the late 80's. They were from Waterford. Of course it may have been a totally differeny band

    Looked on youtube but no sign of it.It wasen't even that great a song TBH,it's just one of those memories from years ago that comes to the surface now and then and curiosity gets the better of me.
