    If on the day you resort to this, for a ceremony, if its even allowed, but some folk seem to have done it....whats to say that the name and dob they give is even genuine:confused:

    Why would they do that when they could just say no to doing it instead.

    That would be quite evil but I'm not sure it matters once it's signed on the day.

    Its just seems soo lax when all the other details have to be written in stone and in triplicate:D

    You are required to name your two witnessess and their dob's when first giving notification but there is nothing to say that you can change these later but obviously you can.

    You can definitely change them right up until the day you are getting married.

    You can change them on the day too. We did.

    There has to be flexibility on witnesses, people get sick, flights get cancelled etc etc. Witnesses are changed all the time (well i've heard of it more than once anyway) and it wouldn't really be fair to a couple if the marriage couldn't go ahead because a non-essential person couldn't be there on the day.
