Best Town/Village in Donegal?

What is your favourite town/village in the county?

Im from raphoe but I believe Donegal town is my favourite, it has lots of shops, hotels, restaurants etc. The Diamond is a perfect epicentre for the town. Donegal castle is a great tourist spot. Also, it seems more urban than its population of 2,600 would suggest.

Im putting up a poll with main towns in donegal but feel free to suggest others.

    Yet you only posted 20...

To be fair though OP you are just gonna have people voting for their hometown most of the time and the town with the biggest birth population (Although Letterkenny has the biggest population a lot of people will have moved there)

It was a choice between Convoy, Raphoe or Donegal Town, in the end it had to be Donegal Town as I spent my first night as a married woman there;)

Careful now Dannie. You could end up in the firing line as well.

And why is there no Castlefinn, St.Johnston or Carrigans here. I'm calling a conspiracy.

I've voted for Ballyshannon. My mother is from the town so I spent every summer holiday of my life there until I turned 17. Nice size town with plenty pubs. Close proximity to Fundoran and Rossnowlagh beaches. Also plenty of mountain/lake areas nearby if you're into that kind of thing.

Also, a big shout out to the Folk Festival and an even bigger shout out to the Rory Gallagher Festival.

Just noticed this. Still thinking as to voting.

But not a single vote for Killybegs or Glenties!!!. Is either really that bad?
