As the title says, I'm looking for a range cooker, budget is no more than 2500. Had a look at some Leisure ones today and thought that the build quality was very light. Also looked at a Ilve and it seemed much sturdier (and pricier)

Anyone have experience with any other brands, FIsher and Paykel look decent but would like some reviews.

    TIA

I agree with above, the cheaper one's are really just 2 regular cooker chassis stuck together and not really upto the name "Range".

Avoid s**g - we bought one 10 years ago, quality wasn't great as it needed repairing on average 1ce per year, and their customer service was sadly lacking.

Thanks muckety. The reviews online for that brand aren't great so I'll be avoiding them.

I am looking at range cookers at the moment with the same budget & was wondering what cooker did you buy? also I was surprised at how expensive the Range Hoods were.

In the end I didn't go with a range. Decided to go with a double oven and gas hob, sorry I can't be of any more help.

Anyone out there have a Rayburn Electric? Not for sale in ROI but can be purchased through NI & UK. Have only seen them in brochures but would like to view one 'in the flesh'. Based in Mayo but willing to travel. Thanks.
