Mods I hope I'm posting this is the right place.

We have a Renault Clio 02 with one key.

The main dealer quoted me €220 for a second key.

Is there any place in Cork that I might get one for a better price??

    Thanks

    Kilsmum

    http://www.keyfobrepair.co.uk/Renault_Megane_Scenic_keycard_repair..htm

I used these guys to repair a senic key that the main dealer wanted crazy money for. Key repaired and back within a week.
I don't know if they supply replacement keys but send them a mail.

    Pogsick,

Rang KC - they only repair the keys but thanks anyway.

fl4pj4ck - it is crazy money!!

The children share the car and it was more for convenience I was considering doing it. It's certainly not worth paying that kind of money for a second key for a 02 car.

    Thanks,

    Kilsmum

Had a quote for the same for €180 just a couple weeks ago, LockDoctor in Limerick. €100 for repair of existing one. (In the end didn't go for it as I've a working one, and the broken spare still works the immobiliser, and the little key thing in the end opens the hidden key barrel in the passenger door handle)

Very happy with service from KC Systems who repaired my Renault Megane key by post. Renault dealer made a song and dance about getting an expensive replacement key.

I'm sorry that i didn't know about them a year ago when I replaced key number 2
