    Hi guys,

Had a search and read through some posts, but if anyone specifically from Tallaght would have any experience please chime in and let me know!

Im going to buy the cheapest saorview box i can find and im going to buy a cheap indoor aerial, nothing special or attic mounted, just stick it at my window, i can see [what i presume is] the tv transmitter up on the mountains, somewhere close to sally gap. im hoping to pay as little as possible, will this work does anyone know? im broke, and really want to watch liverpool v united

    thanks!

If you can see Kippure you should be ok . I have an indoor aerial in Tallght which receives both 3 rock and Kippure . If you enter your address here http://www.saorview.ie/what-is-saorview/make-the-switch/coverage-map/ it will show you the direction you need to point

    Good luck

Freeview is Uk terrestrial (their equivalent of saorview) Freesat is the satellite service

No. Freeview is the UK terrestrial service received through an aerial.
