    Hi Folks,

So what has happened is that I am getting married at the end of October. My best man was supposed to be organising my stag but it turns out he couldn't organise a piss up in a brewry and has nothing booked. My stag is supposed to be on the 5th October (yeah I know next week!). The idea was to book a secluded house in the country so that everybody that is coming can bring a musical instrument and we can drink lots of beer, make music and have a bit of craic. As nothing has been organised I'm going up the wall! We are based in Dublin and there will probably be 7 of us going and would preferbly like something that is not too far away coz of driving the day after. Any suggesttions would be more than welcome. Thanks

Check out carlingford adventure centre you can do an activities day and then there's done great pubs in the town for the night. You can rent apartments. I think they might have stag packages. Only 1 hour from dublin.

Is he wearing pants to the wedding? Get someone to vet him before he leaves his room on the big day!

Check out Tripadvisor for country cottages, you'd find one for a weekend fairly cheaply easily enough.

Ballycumber house in Offaly would meet your requirements.
Blessington has lovely holiday homes but they are only 3 bed.

Sail and rail to Bangor in Wales, cheap travel lodge and you'll be sorted.
Can drink on the boat and train.
€78 (or €87 can't remember) return and when we did it we got the travel lodge for €7 a head, 3 per room.
Few quid on taxis and our bus from Meath to Dublin port was only €10 a head.
We got the slow boat both ways for drinking time ;)
