Wood burning stove needs new window

Is it possible for glue alone (for ex, thermotite) to hold a wood burning stove's window pane in place? Last night our one fell in after the catches broke away and we're left without any heating options. With these catches for the pane gone, I wonder if glue alone will be enough to keep it going for a few weeks. what do people think?

Had something similar happen to me a few years back

Assuming the glass is still intact , I used fire cement to hold the glass in place.

The fire cement eventually will crumble - and you will need to re-apply more, but it worked until i replaced the door.

Fire cement was easy enough to find - woodies etc

Good news! Can I ask how long you waited before replacing the door? Months, weeks or days?
