    Hi

I'm entitled to receive a rent supplement (and my mom) but they needed a bank details (both of us) so I gave them. The problem was that I gave wrong account number and they only could send money to my mom account, I was waiting 3 months (and I sent correct one details of my bank) and I got money only for this month ! Could you tell me how it's possible?

Sounds like they may have made the payments into the incorrect account, seeing as you gave them inaccurate details- and updated their systems with the correct account number when you gave the correct details to them.

If they have made the payment to the incorrect account- or indeed, if the payment bounced- it could be the end of the year before their accounts are reconciled, and perhaps the money may never reappear- if it was paid into an incorrect account.

Normal circumstances are that arrears are not paid. Seeing as they supposedly paid the previous 3 months- I'd suggest chasing it with them- but I wouldn't hold out any hope of getting it resolved in an expeditious manner.

Just ring them we had a few issues with one of my tenants moving their claim and I spoke directly to the social welfare office who were useful to be on the phone.
