I am just wondering if anybody could advise me about the tax i am paying. I am working part time on x and o's. Doing 20 hours over 3 days earning €173 from the job. At the moment i am paying €2.60 PAYE and €12.11 for USC. I could be wrong but is the USC a bit high for part time work. I got charged €50 PAYE my first week…

You need to get a tax credit certificate. Call into or talk to your tax office.
