As the man said when he walked into the Antique shop " What's new?" :P:P

I just see so many repeat ads on DD that I wonder does anybody know of anybody who's actually sold a car in the last year or so, and was it cash / swop / trade-in

There HAS to be a market for everything, either for whole or breaker stuff , yet it just seems so stagnant - apart from all the commercials heading to Africa :(

A lot of overpriced rubbish out there.

a big lack of quality cars, there is a good few restoration projects, or rusty tatty drivers, but very few that are properly restored, or nice solid decent cars around, any that are for sale are way over the odds too.

haven't heard of too many people buying so can only assume there aint much selling

No market for Top End cars in this country imho. I sold an immaculately restored MGA back into the UK a few months ago.Plenty of Junkers around all right , but people are getting more clued in before buying , which is a good thing.

I sold 2 cars in the last six months, the biggest problem is getting people to come and look at them, both sold to the first to look at them, both took about 2 months and had been bumped numerous times.
The problem is the lying and bull****ting that goes on from both buyers and sellers has made people very wary.
You do have to keep bumping as many people only go back a few pages, so its worth it.

Good advice :) PLUS DD doesn't always bring up correct results - if somebody advertises a 'Merc 350', and you put Mercedes S350 in search then it won't show - the fact that MERCedes s350 is part of the word does'nt register

Doesn't matter if it's china / piano / car , I'm getting more and more wary/p'd off with wasters phoning etc. Maybe boot/car sales are the way to go. ( Sell cars at boot sales ? I think it happens overseas ) At least you don't waste time sitting in waiting for callers

I noticed that too, when I put in MX-5 something like 100 cars were listed, when you put in MX5 only 80 or so came up.
    Use loads of keywords;)
