It has emerged today that those troops responsible for the killing of 14 unarmed innocent civilians have not been questioned yet for the 14 murders.

Last July, after Saville, the PSNI said they expected the murder investigation to take at least four years and involve a team of 30 detectives.

However as o yet NONE of the troops have even been questioned.

How can this type of ridiculous situation continue, why is nobody ever going to be held responsible.

It is obvious that the people in charge of law enforcement have remained and want to continue the "wait" tactic until the murderers die off and so the Brit Government will not face any legal consequence.

I am really getting fed up of this type of behaviour, it is of little wonder Haaas has been brought in to shore up tensions in the north while this type of "Law" is enforced, or not as the case is here.

As mad as I am, I cannot imagine what the family of the victims must be feeling.

It took about 30 years before the British even acknowledged that the people were innocent civilians, so actually arresting and sentencing those responsible might take a while.

At least the Brits admitted their guilt, when will the provos who bombed the Le Mon, or who murdered Jean Mc Conville etc come forward and admit their guilt?

If you want to talk about the provos start your own thread; DO NOT hijack this thread about the families of THIS tragedy .

A good lot of those soldiers are probably dead by now, (and hopefully rotting in Hell)

This "tragedy" lies in a context, if you cant stand the truth, don't start threads.
Justice for all. or justice for none.

Anyway, I think that the difference is that the killers of Jean McConville are not publicly known whereas the Bloody Sunday killers are well known and an expensive inquiry has identified their guilt.
So the cops have a pretty good starting point, so to go months without even question them seems very slow.

Now, I'm not sure what is going on behind the scenes at PSNI, or what they are planning, but it doesn't look great.
A high profile case with the history of Bloody Sunday will always arou se suspicions of political influence.

If they decided that the guilty were too old and no longer a threat to society, and hence not worth pursuing, some would understand that.
But it would be interesting to know their intentions.

Looks like a few of the soldiers are getting pulled in for questioning now.

Just goes to show how nationalist victims of the troubles are disregarded especially when they were murdered 'Her Majesty's' British Forces.

Wow such amazing arrogance. The Provos were barely in existence until this happened never mind claiming that Civil Rights protesters had anything to do with them in the first place.

The narrative that there were just a few "bad eggs" in the BA who lost the run of themselves and shot people needs to be challenged
