its a hoover dyna 8144d eco washing machine and is giving me an error code of E03 just when its about to spin. ive looked up online and this error code means the water is not being drained away properly.

so first i emptied the sump and took the filter out and cleaned it. then the hose beside the filter. all were ok. then i turned it on its head and removed the sump hose and it wasnt blocked either and also the drainage hose took that off and no blockage. so there is no blockage in any of the pipes.

i also took the hose off the pressure switch and gave it a good blow. it wasnt blocked but was awful tough to blow into. someone suggested doing that in case the switch was fooled by a blockage.

dont know what else to do now, apart from call out a costly technician to sort it out. anything else i could try?

Pull machine out from wall, when on drain does water come from the drain (grey) hose ? if not can you hear the pump running ?? if you can you need to look again.
Quite a common problem are coins in one of the hoses that only flips over and blocks when the pump runs, get your fingers in there.

yeah i had it on a regular wash and 20 minutes into before it stopped there was about 3-4 litres in the bucket. i had the hose out just to see how much was coming out. i opened it all up and checked for anything like that. it seems to throw up the error just as it is starting the fast spin. why would that be?
