Hi, im a lone parent with 3 children, claiming one parent family and living alone . My partner and i are planning on moving into a new property together soon. I will loose no one parent family payment. My partner works, but has a low income of 400 euro per week. I dont and cant work with small children. Will we qualify for a FIS payment or social welfare payment of some kind? Any information appreciated.

Your partner should qualify for fis once they are working 19 hrs a week http://www.welfare.ie/en/Pages/Family-Income-Supplement-FIS---SW-22.aspx

Thanks. Would anyone know also if we would qualify to go on the RAS scheme with the council to help pay the rent?
