So can I use a galaxy tab two with any software that is already on the Tab 2 straight out of the box, or do I need to purchase something in the play store?

Ive tried google and am getting conflicting reports. If I have to purchase something can anyone recommend anything? I am going to be using it for work as well as pleasure. A newbie to Samsung - feeling brave :D

Try Google Quick Office app, it's free

Not sure but you may also have Polaris Office installed out of the box by Samsung?

Thanks for the quick reply. Will both of these allow me to edit as well as just view?? Its mainly spreadsheets I will be working on.

    Yes they will.

Not sure if they'll cope 100% with all spreadsheets, there might be the odd compatibility issue, but in general they should be fine.

Let us know how you get on.
