    Hi,

I was going to try and claim back my tax for the years 2010 - 2012 for orthodontic work, I was only working part time in this time frame am I entitled to claim a tax refund?

Thanks for any info you might have

I would think that you should be able to claim relief at a rate of 20% when you make your next tax return, just make sure you have your receipts if queried. I'm open to correction on this though

Depends how 'part time' you were.

You must have paid tax to get tax back. If your part-time hours were low or not for full year, you might not have paid tax.
(Not saying you were black market, you will have paid the correct amount of tax, its just possible that the correct amount is Zero.)

Also afaik your dentist needs to fill in the MED2 to reclaim the tax, you can't just submit it yourself.
