Steepletone ST918 cartridge HELP NEEDED!!!

    I got a Steepletone st918 record player, a cheap but ok little thing, as a gift a while back.

    My mate broke the stylus, cartridge came out, and the 4 wires are now unattached. Every other player I've seen as 4 connections available for each wire. However, this being so cheap, there's just a little rubber doohickey with only 2 slots.

    My question is - anybody else have this player or a similar cartridge set up? I can't figure out if the 2 slots in the rubber attachment hold 2 wires hold, or whether a piece has been lost, if that makes sense. it's driving me nuts as I can't find pictures or anything online of how the wires are set up.
