    Hi all,

Is there any way to get one of the other BBC regions (BBC2 specifically) on Sky Ireland. I only have BBC NI and the other regions that are listed for channels up around 970 only seem to be available to UK Sky subscriptions.

I realise I can add a card etc but I'm looking for something once off to catch something tonight.

BBC player etc is not an option as its for someone else where this will not work. Preferably I'd like to be able to tell them how to record it but thats ok if not possible.

(I did search this forum and www as well)

I think they may have Sky HD (I dont) so is 143 BBC 2 London or NI? This might work if they have HD.

Read the sticky at the top about tuning in other channels in the tuning guide. You will find all the channels you want using that.

    Hi Bertie,

I overlooked that as it is titled UK FTA channels and I thought that was just for a FTA box. Also in that thread I can only see tuning info for BBC NI. Am I mising something?

I believe 142 on Sky HD is BBC Two HD (England), there is no separate BBC Two London region on satellite. Had a look at today's schedule for BBC 2 London and BBC 2 HD on Digiguide and the both carry the same programming.

BBC Two England, the SD version can be tuned in via "other channels" on 10773.00 H 22000 5/6

If he can see BBC Two HD on Sky 142 or 143 he'll be OK, if not he'll have to tune it in via other channels.

Yeah I'm nowhere near so I'll just have to wait until he's back home later to check. I dont have HD so I just get the subscription page when I look at 143.

Worst case I'll give him the tuning info and he can just stay up...
