Stove Air Supply Pipe, how to finish it

    Hi,

Finally looks like I'll have a stove for this winter.

The air supply pipe we have fitted currently emerges vertically about a foot from the external wall outside. It's blanked off right now to prevent water ingress or wild life getting in.

The issue I have now though is how to finish it off properly so that it
    (a) Looks nice
    (b) Keeps water out
    (c) keeps animals out
    (d) Still is able to supply the required volume of air.

I'm finding myself wondering if I'm into some custom piece of stainless steel work.

    Any suggestions appreciated.

    SAS
