    Hey all,

Not sure if its the right forum but I thought you guys might know best.

I am looking for some wood with a similar appearance to this (that is a CGI but was a nice illustration), it appears to me to just be a dried type of wood? (I have no idea to be honest)
    http://www.wildtextures.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/wildtextures-old-wood-original-file.jpg

I just need about 2ft x 2ft of it or so (i have been keeping an eye for scraps but not joy)

Would there be anywhere you would recommend to get some matching this or am i best scoring/scribing/detailing and weathering a fresh piece to match?

    Cheers

Looks like a hundred year old railway sleeper. Try old salvage yards.
