FAS Job Bank

Was just wondering if anyone had registered their CV on the FAS jobs website and after registering have you had a "reaction" to your CV?

I registered with them ages ago and today I got an email (via the Job Bank titled "Reaction to CV") from a company, which started by introducing themselves, however the email was only a partial message and seemed to stop mid sentence and part way through the first paragraph (the instructions at the start of the message stated to reply to a specified email address).

When I logged onto the FAS website it was showing no reactions and when I went to the company's website there are no vacancies showing, however, the name of the person appears to be real (has a LinkedIn account and the name appears on the website). Would you email the company/person direct to see what the story is or leave it?

    Thanks

    Yeah, I'd email.

But only after searching the internet for the company first and figuring out if they're one of the door-to-door selling or similar ones. My instinct says they're probably dodgy.
