Anyone any experience with this gym? I'm a complete (fairly unfit) beginner so I need a beginner friendly place.

    Thanks in advance.

It doesn't make a difference if you are unfit, going there will make you fit.

You don't need to get fit for martial arts, you get fit by training.

I was a member of SBG LongMile, but moved house so cancelled my membership
been meaning to restart at BlackRock for the last few weeks.

If they run BR like they run LM then its certainly worth going.

They were great in LM with good instructors and classes aimed for beginners in all disciplines.

And yes, you get fitter as you go, you do not need to be fit to begin.

I will advice working on your mobility and make sure you are properly warmed up before every class
