Buying a driver

I have a couple of prizes that can be returned to halpenny golf in lucan, was thinking of upgrading the driver, currently using a cobra that i bought 2nd hand about 5 years ago.

Just wondering how does one go about knowing what driver is for me without having a test run? Do they have a practice area in store? If not, can anyone point me in the direction of somewhere that would let you test drive a club...

    thanks.

Kinsealy Range or the Spa Well both have shops attached to the range. They should let you try clubs out.

Kinsealy has a McGuirks attached & they do club fitting. Think they charge €30 for a custom fit whether you buy or not.

Any time I've asked the lads in the Spa Well have been happy to give me a club to try out. They don't have major fitting facilities but I believe they are planning on investing in them in the near future (think they are planning on buying a trackman)
