PC for 3D Modelling, CAD, Rendering.

    Hi all,

    Just posting this on behalf of a friend, basically wants a high end PC to handle 3D modelling, photoshop & rendering.

    The guy is currently studying architecture.

    He has an idea what he wants, i74770K, 32gb RAM, 250GB SSD and 2 good HDD's, graphic card isnt too important gaming wise, but a good one would be preferable for his projects.


    1. What is your budget?

    1500

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer?
    3D modelling, photoshop & rendering, CAD and gaming somewhere down the line but its not to important right now.

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? Yes

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? [Hard drive/DVD Drive/Case/PSU/etc.] No

    5. Do you need a monitor? No

    5a. If yes, what size do you need. N/A

    5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future? [1920x1080/1440x900/etc.] N/A

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? Wireless card

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? At some point yes.

    8. How can you pay? Credit Card/Laser

    9. When are you purchasing? In the coming weeks

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? Cork but it shouldnt be a problem really.
