Fixing microwave door...before I irradiate the family

I have a 15 year old whirlpool microwave model name talent 3d ,model number mt243. The door comprises of an external plasticky glass piece, the metal mesh section which makes up the bulk of the door and a glass section oven-side of the mesh which has a black plastic film around it holding it in place.

Last week i noticed condensation building up in the door but ignored it. Today the glass (oven-side) section fell off. It appears that the film lost its suction or stickiness- whatever keeps it stuck to the metal mesh section.

Has anyone had a similar problem that they have been able to fix?
The door closes fine without the glass section but I'm a bit concerned that I might be exposing the household to radiation without it which wouldn't be great.
    Thanks!
