Got into my 00 1L polo this morning and turned it on, had a bit of trouble getting it started, nothing major, just thought it was due to the car being parked up for the weekend, but still this is car that starts on the first time, every time.

Got it going anyway and turned on the wipers to get rid of the dew and nothing, they were working fine when I drove the car on Friday, any ideas what I could be looking at here, washer motor isn't making a noise either when I try that. Hoping its only a fuse but knowing my luck.

Could be a fuse. Try that option first.
