PAYE balancing statements P21's

    Hi All would really appreciate if someone could help me here my partner received a letter on Friday stating he owes €10k in PAYE balancing statements from (P21) for 2009-2012!!! Can anyone shine a little light as to why this would be the letter is very bleak!!

    You need to look at each years balancing statements. A single person is entitled to a single persons credit of €1,650 and a PAYE credit of €1,650. Make sure he is getting both. Compare the gross pay to his P60s for the year. Put the gross pay into a tax calculator http://www.deloitte.ie/tc/ and see what the story is.
