    Hello everyone!

My name is Petra and I am a student of psychology at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. I have finished my first year, and have two more years before I receive a bachelor's degree in psychology. I would love to undertake the MSc in Applied Psychology postgraduate programme in the School of Psychology in TCD. I have a couple of questions, and Trinity College isn't answering, so I would be very grateful if anyone could help.

    1. What would be 2.1 system converted into GPA? In Croatia we have GPA system from 1 to 5 with decimals. Does anyone know what would be the 2.1 requirement converted into grades?

    2. When I fulfill my online application when I'm on my last year of undergraduate studying(3rd year) in November, I have to insert a transcript of my grades from first two years, right? Do the GPA's from the first and from the second year 'weigh' the same, 50:50 or is the last year 'more important' when applying(for instance, 30:70)? Or is it the third year that is most important, and first two are less?

    3. Croatia entered EU on 01.07.2013. I'm a student since 01.10.2012. If I understood correctly, that still makes me an EU student?

    And finally,
    4. this is very confusing:

    http://www.tcd.ie/international/apply/english-requirements/
On this link, the requirement for English language is grade A in CAE.

    But on the other hand:
    http://www.tcd.ie/courses/postgraduate/how-to-apply/requirements/international.php
''Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English: Grade C''

What is the difference? Which one applies to my situation(EU student), and do you know is this requirement (un)likely to change within 2 years?

I know this is a lot of questions, but Trinity College isn't answering my email, and I have to know as soon as possible because I have to do the paperwork with my university which requires answers to these questions.. Any help would be great!! Thank you very much in advance. If anyone wishes to contact me through email instead through Forum, then please use petralisac7@gmail.com

Thank you again and I apologize in advance for asking, for most of you probably, very silly questions.

    xoxo

I know it's very frustrating to not get an answer back by e-mail from the college, but this is something they need to confirm themselves. You don't want to trust someone on boards.ie and end up with the wrong English certificate, etc. However, I can tell you that my girlfriend who is Polish didn't need to provide any certificates proving her standard of English, but this may be different for the School of Psychology so you need to ask the college.
The Academic Registry is a little busy right now, because it's the first week of the academic year and they are sorting out student fees, timetables, queries regarding everything. I stood in the queue to the office for an hour and ten minutes the other day, so it's no surprise they are not answering immediately.
