Where to get second hand books

    I am trying to find somewhere to buy second hand books. But when I looked up second hand books on the TCD website and its says the only sale is in Spring and that is halfway through the year. I was wondering if there is anywhere to buy books at the start of term. ps. im studying political science and geography.

    the virtual noticeboard. Put an ad up there for books that you are looking for. someone may already have a ad up there with the ones youre looking for. Another option is amazon, some great bargains can be bought.

    Id wait a few weeks before rushing to buy books.
    All are available online as pdf's and the library is a legal book deposit so every book published in ireland or the britain is available.

    There are also people selling books by sticking up notices around college. Keep an eye out in computer rooms, toilets and noticeboards.

    On that note, I'm looking to sell a book myself, can I just stick up a notice or do I need permission?

    Make a nice poster and bombard the area in which most of students youre targetting are in.

    Permission...whats the worst theyll do.
    Especially if theres no tcd.ie email address. :D

    Can you not get second hand books in the students union shop near the front gate?
