Flybe - Can't Understand Checkin

I just booked a flight from Waterford to Manchester for next Sunday. However, they haven't sent me an email even though my flight booking is confirmed. They also talk about online check-in but I can't find how to do that.

Anyone flown with them before and know how they do these things?

Do you have a booking reference? If so then just go to their home page and click on "check in".

It's a while since I've flown with them but I'm sure I got a confirmation email any time I did. Look in your spam folder.

No, no email, not even in spam. Got the booking reference and saw that the flight was confirmed on their page. Doesn't bode well for their service though if they don't even bother sending a confirmation email. Usually I just exit the booking confirmation page immediately it comes up as other airlines all send booking emails. Luckily I checked this time.

Might have stuck the wrong email address in when booking. Done it myself before without printing off the confirmation page.

Similar happened to me last year with a Ryanair flight, got an email saying my booking was pending and would get an email when it was confirmed. Never got the confirmation mail but I used the flight info or booking ref to check in online, no issue with the flight on the day.

I booked waterford to manchester a few weeks back with flybe and I got 2 emails immediately, and probably 1600 emails since then :) is it possible you used the wrong email address?have you still got the booking ref?

Its possible I did. Wouldn't think I would've done but it is possible. Is it a big problem or should it be ok if I have the booking reference? Are they like ryanair that charge you if you try to check in at the airport?

Have you checked your spam folder.
As this is your first time dealing with them then it is possible their emails went to your spam folder

    http://en.flybe.com/en/checkin/

Have a look here it shows all the ways of checking in. Hope you get it sorted :)

Edit: I just got into my booking with the reference and my name, I can check in with those 36hours before departure.

Thanks. Looks like it isn't a huge deal. Looking at the options its probably because I chose for them to send my details via sms. I thought that meant booking details, not boarding pass, so not sure how my brick of a phone is going to react to that. If there's a problem though it looks like there are plenty of options.

What are they like to fly with?

I've never flown with them myself, delighted Waterford has the Manchester route back again though, it's so handy and I got a great deal on the flights !

Yes, it does seem very helpful. Even from the point-of-view of Dublin Airport being arguably closer to where I live, there are so many events on in Dublin that driving to Waterford may actually well be quicker and easier.
