Aljazeera Sports is broadcast on Badr 6 Ku Band BSS, it is also receivable via hotbird, or Nilesat/Atlantic Bird4A
Recommended dish sizes 1.20m
my question : can we receive Aljazeera Sports +1 to +10 on BADR 26e in ireland ??
any signal for 12341 and 12379?

Id sincerely doubt it hence why its also on Hotbird which covers europe only some parts of that dish is available here on a large dish as you already spercified.

i already have 1.5cm satellite dish pointed to badr 26e ,got about 137 tv channels without getting any signal from aljazeera sports 12341 and 12379.
any ideas ?

I think Foreign Satellite might be able to help you better

I am interested to know too, I have a 1.2m dish and I got in touch with 2 different satellite installers, they both confirmed that the size of the dish is good to receive a strong signal for Badr6, but if I can't get the Al Jazeera sport signal then it's pointless.

There must be some mistake here. You cannot receive Badr 6 in Ireland. Is it possible they meant Badr 4? I get 165 channels on Badr 4 with 1.1 m dish.

There is plenty of discussionon this page about Al Jazeera Sports, mostly recently about ways of watching it without a dish. Or possibly with a very large dish on 7 West.

you just answered my questions. we cannot receive Badr 6 in Ireland:mad: but we can only get badr 4 without Al Jazeera Sports.
Al Jazeera Sports on nilesat 7w only with a very large dish.:D

Jsc epl should be possible along the east coast up to dublin with a top quality dish like a gibertini 1.25 metre dish or a channel master 1.2 with a proper matching feedhorn or the inverto black ultra single or twin it would only work with no rain and in an area with low noise interference I have the fta jsc 1 and 2 24 7 on a triax 1.1 with no rain also I get fox movies and fox all day with a technomate 5402 because of its high tuner sensitivity its even better than an alien 2 or the older technomate 6000 or 7000 series of reciever

unfortunately still don't have Aljazeera Sports +1 to +10 on Badr 6
any Rotana`s?

I cant receive badr 6 but i get rotana on 7.2 west which is on the same frequency as fox movies

what's your setup? what's requirements to get 7.2w? if you didn't mind asking
