Probably not, in the short term anyway. there is xbox & playstation in the house, just general stuff, it's for a 15yr old.

You could go for something like this which is a fair bit higher spec. A faster processor with a dedicated graphics card and better upgrade options than the Dell will have.

You can build it yourself or add this to the cart if you want them to assemble it for €20. You will still have to install windows and any software you need yourself.

If you need a mouse you can grab one on HWVS. This is a great mouse for the money. There are cheaper ones. Mouse mat.

You should buy the keyboard locally as the German layout is different.

Hi naughtysmurf, here`s a link to what i think is a good deal on a gaming laptop in your price range, i got it in a subscribed email from dabs.ie,

    http://www.dabs.ie/products/fujitsu-ah532-intel-core-i3-3110m-4gb-500gb-nvidia-gt620m-1gb-15-6--hdmi-usb3-windows-8-laptop-8X8Y.html?utm_source=ie%20email&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=email220913&utm_content=e800

please check it out thoroughly as to your requirements, as it`s a laptop and not upgradable (obviously), but it might suit your needs. Battery life might be its weak spot though, just wanted to link it for you as it`s not a bad offer.

That laptop is brutal for gaming

That laptop won't play any new games.

It isn't really a "gaming laptop", but it would play new games. Just reduce the textures and the overall quality to probably medium and it'd play pretty much anything. For the price it is a good all rounder, just not a gaming laptop.

No, it's really not. Battlefield 3 barely hits over 25fps on low settings on the Gt620m. Hardly worth buying if you're interested playing games when a game from 2011 barely struggles by on lowest settings.

Jeez, calm down bezerk, TerrorFirmer, i just suggested the link, didn`t assign a have to buy recommendation to it, i even suggested that naughtysmurf check it out thoroughly first.
And as naughtysmurf did not stipulate a gaming rig i just thought it was a good price for an all round machine with limited gaming ability.

    relax guys,

They're not giving out to you. They're just letting him know that the Laptop won't cope at all that well when trying to play any sort of game on it. I wouldn't even say it's a great laptop for the price to be honest.
