Hi all, I have browsed these threads a lot lately and Im amazed at how much money people are saving on clothes, food, drink and entertainment etc. My question is do you have any advice on what websites I should be using to save money- be it when booking flights, hotels, clothes etc. Im very bad when it comes to money and sadly it looks like it will be a lean Christmas ahead unless I cop on a bit and not throw money away by (and I want to change these habits) booking through hotel websites and direct with airline, spending loads per year on snacks instead of weekly shops, just renewing insurance without shopping around etc.

As you can see a lot of my problem is my fault as I seem to just accept the easiest option when it comes to fixing/buying cars, food, holidays etc but Im also ignorant of the websites/saving deals that are out there. Can anyone out there please share a few tips on savings so that I may have some left over cash for the coming months?? Thanks in advance.

    ;)

Cut up your credit card and cancel your paypal acount.

Use your ATM card once a week to take out X-Amount of money for the week.

Use that money to get you through the week and make it last the week.

If you do that and stop wasting your money.........then you will have a nice Christmas.

Wrong forum mate. If this thread is indeed moved to After Hours then I suggest you click "Unfollow". That forum is full of wannabee comedians looking to heckle and up their thanks quotas.

Stop buying things you don't need. Like clothes and holidays.

Make a meal planner (even just write down what you eat for a week). Then make a shopping list and stick to it.

Not a Bargain Alert, but not specifically a Request either.

Some enough advice given here to give you a start though OP.

    Closed!
