Basically I'm looking for information on what my options are in claiming tax on rent I've been paid since August 2011 to August 2013 and also for a year from May 2010 to May 2011.

Am entitled to any claim and how do I go about it. Any help would be much appreciated as I'm a bit lost on all this.

Just claim your credit on www.ros.ie

There is only a small amount of relief available, you do not get all your rent refunded. Also if you were not renting prior to 2010 you do not qualify.

edit: Your post is really vague. Are you paying rent or receiving it?

Sorry was paying rent. Paid about €11,000 in the 3 yr period. I was renting during 2010 but not prior to that.
