Wedding buffet/bbq 230 guests!!

Hey folks,
I was hoping to get some advice from companies or personal experience as to where in Ireland (preferably near Dublin, but can be flexible) on a venue that would cater for wedding aprox 230 guests. My idea is buffet style, as to trying to create an informal event but without lacking good organisational skills.
I'm just at the early stages and am fairly open to new ideas, any feedback most appreciated!

A buffet for230 would be chaotic tbh. You'll find it difficult to get a caterer who'll do one for those numbers.

Any hotel worth anything would be able to do it no problem. I work in a 4* hotel in Killarney and we have done buffet for 500 plus. We have a system in place and it is very easy. One that springs to mind in Dublin is Clontarf Castle. I attended an event there that had a buffet put on and they were top class with their organisation skills.

If a place tells you they cant do buffet for 230 then you had a lucky escape imo.

talk to the hotels that you are interested in and you will find many will accommodate you.
