The other half had an interview for a part time weekend job for a well known phone shop in Dublin south. She was told during the interview that it was a four part interview with part three being a day long interview and part four being two full days. Does this sound unusual to anyone else or am I loosing my mind?? Four interviews with one being two full days for a part time job?!

That sounds very very unusual, the more cynical among us might well conclude that the shop is attempting to gain a few free days worth of labour from all the applicants.

    Sounds very, very strange.

To work in a phone shop? I'm sorry but they need to get fcuking real! Fair enough a few hours trials or even a half day max, 3-4 days no effing way.
Sounds a scam to me and a ploy to exploit free labour. Not the first store I've heard of pulling this one either.

It's a weird one. Like part three and four are one and two full days "interview" respectively. For a part time weekend job! Not sure whether they may be "testing" interviewees to gauge their interest/reactions..?
