Does anyone know of a good, reliable place in the Dublin area to get the ultracap/battery replaced in an old Seiko Kinetic watch? It still works, but it barely lasts overnight these days without the battery almost completely discharging.

Nobody? Is there a chance that any decent jewellers will be able to do it?

I'd assume a decent jewelers would be able for it A. TBH It's out of my knowledge base. A seiko main dealer might be the better plan?

Went up there today, very helpful people as you say, and they'll do a capacitor replacement and a complete service. Apparently, the new capacitors are much quicker than the old ones at charging up and also keep the watch going for much longer when not being worn, which is a plus.

They're also trying to help me with an ancient dual analogue/digital Seiko from 1980 that I have whose LCD display is broken.
