Selling a Ford Dexta 2000 with no log book.....

Hiya all - Just wondering if it's a problem selling a vintage tractor like this with no book? It's in good working order and I could sell it on, no problem - but as a working tractor for use on the road or as a doer-uper for vintage rallies, would this problem lower the price much? Also, can't figure out the serial number for the life of me, as the tables I've found don't specify the Dexta 2000 :(

I'm gutted to have to part with it as it's done so much heavy work for me without ever not starting or sitting down in the road (even though I'm not a real farmer, I like tinkering with it but can't afford to do it up properly and don't really need it anymore).

Should not be a problem at all but probably reflected in the price.

Build code and serial number is on the transmission housing under the fuel tank if that helps.

Cheers. Found that one, but can't correspond the letters and numbers to any of the online info about them. Never mind, it has Ford Dexta on the side and it's a 2000, with fins on the bonnet, so I know it's one of the older 2000's before they stopped calling them Dexta's. That'll do. And yeah - probably not getting much for it!

It is rare to get a good one of them.

Perhaps the gearbox was changed in it at some point in the past?

For sure, I'd say. Don't know how much has been changed on it really, but it's in great working order. Looks a bit rough though! It was cutting grass on the local GAA pitch for 10 years before I had it and someone drove it up a lamp post, so the front end isn't pretty. Radiator miraculously escaped though, and is working fine.
