    Hi,

I made contact with a company I would like to work for on Wed and spoke with their sales director. I mentioned I was looking to work with their company. She mentioned there were a few roles available and to send in my CV which I did straight away. Yesterday I got a reply from her saying she has passed my cv on the the head of dept where I would like to work and to their HR dept.

Now I want to stay on top of the pile so to speak so was thinking of giving the head of dept a call to introduce myself etc a reminder about me I guess. As its a sales role I think this may look good as part of this type of role is being proactive but I am wondering if it is too soon to call?

    Any suggestions or advice here?

    frAg

Myself, I'd wait 'til after morning tea on Monday.

Your industry may be different, though.
