Inta shower mixer not mixing - help

    Hi all,

My Inta shower tap has two levers, one acts as a tap to regulate the water volume and the other mixes the hot and cold ratio. I'm getting a full flow but it's all cold water. The mixer lever turns two and a half full circles from blue right, which should mean 100% cold water, to red left which should mean 100% hot water but even with the mixer tap turned all the way to the left I'm still getting 100% cold water.

The shower had been in place and working without problem for about 5 years. A few weeks ago the amount of hot water coming through seemed to reduce even with the mixer turned all the way left but now it's zero hot water coming through.

The other shower in the house is working fine and hit water is coming through the sinks etc no problem.

Is this a job I can fix easily myself or does the mixer tap need to be replaced?

    Is appreciate any suggestions.

    Regards,

    Ben

First thing is check the inlet filters.

If not that you probably need a replacement cartridge

Thanks Corkgsxr, appreciate the response. I've no idea what an inlet filter is so I guess I'd better call a local plumber.

If anyone on here can recommend a good quality plumber who specialises in residential jobs in South Dublin (I'm in Stillorgan) please feel free to PM me. In addition to the shower problem I have another couple of issues that need taking care of also so perhaps the time to do those is now!!

    Which model?
    Is it thermostatic?
Have you a mixing valve in your hot press?

Has the outer nob/lever come off at any time?
If it has it may need readjusting.
