Hey Folks,

I have here a full metal and wood AKS74U with extra mags in showroom condition.

Just doesn't suit me.

FPS 300-305fps

So selling for €175 or trade for good Scar or PDW.

Whats the make of your ak? Where did you buy it? How was it downgraded? Are you the first owner? Has it beed skirmished? How many mags in total? What type mags hi, low mid cap? Any batteries? (if so what type?) Any charger? Do you still have the box? Good quality pics of both sides including mags battery and box etc please. Any damage or operating problems internally or externally? What is the fps with 0.2g bbs hop off? Will want to meet up to inspect chrono and testfire. Cheers.

1) DeBurca, Apologies, should know better than this by now but FPS done,

2) Roguespear, Tis a DBOYS, never been skirmished, 3 hi-cap mags, 1 8.4v battery, upper wooden handguard is a little loose, but I can fix that, also has spare set of handguards from when I was going to build a second 1 but never got round to it, box is in attic but buried under loads of stuff after emptying lock-up so might find it but no promises.
No charger as I use lipos on my active gear now and only have 1.

Live in Celbridge so meet up is easy enough.

Pics later as in work now.

(Will say on the box or a magnet will tell you) Will be around cellbridge this weekend. Will wait for pics and answers to questions above cheers.

I am 2nd owner, 1st owner was given it as a birthday present 8 weeks ago but hates AKs.

Unsure about downgrading method as only had it for 3 weeks myself and as it works properly I have not opened it up.

May be steel body, it is deffinitely full metal body, I know that much.

If you are around Celbridge then we could meet up and you can view it then.

Ok unwanted bday present lots of wiggle room on price so will wait for the pics and if you can see if a magnet sticks to the all of the body (not just the part with the metal gearbox behind it) Cheers

Right,

Have some pics now.

Magnet sticks to most of the body, so steel reciever, and stock, flash-hider, outer barrel must be aluminium.

Sorry mate, I already use an SPR and a Tavor for sniping (both have a longer barrel than most L96s.)

what part of the body does the magnet not stick to? I have a steel version here and the magnet sticks to all parts of the body... The pot metal ak I have the magnet only sticks to the parts of the body that has the metal gearbox behind it!! Are those scratches on the side optics mount and on the front sight or is that just the flash from the camera. Any pics of the other mags

Hi mate,

The scratches are there because I have a scope mount to go with it, ( I am a photographer by trade and use most of my gear on photoshoots)

The outer barrel seems less magnetic, however, the difference between this and my CYMA AK47 is very obvious, the magnet is kinda attracted by the Cyma, but jumps out of my hand with the AKS74U.

Front sight is a little scratched with the strap clip.

That's cool, but not interested in the stock 8.4 batt, straight into the bin it would go, same with the strap. Didn't see before above message that the scope mount was included but again not interested in it, anything other than Russian red dots look out of place on aku's. 3-4 mags your post to roguespear only said 3 total. So my offer is for the Aeg and 3 mags only, I can up it to 120 if your interested but that's as much as I'd go. The M4a1 is plastic of course wouldn't be tradin a full metal classic army for a dboys AK. Thanks

Hi, am interested in the AK if its the steel model will be stripping the paint and blueing the steel to give the real steel look. But it has to be the steel version because the potmetal doesn't blue! If you could fish out the box it will say Real Steel on the side. Would you be willing to sell the AEG on its own? And if so What is your best price? Will collect. Cheers
