Can't be bothered buying every single type of lynx to find which out is the best one, could you give me your top 3 favourite type lynx (in order)? Cheers! :D

Eau de Bumfluff is the best.

    STEP AWAY FROM THE LYNX.

Seriously, if there is one piece if advice I will freely give, it's that no one should use Lynx, ever. If you need a body spray you can get easily, go for something like Hackett, or Ted Baker.

Bitta Africa, but it works best on top of 3 or 4 day old BO!

    OP, don't use Lynx.

I do use a bit of ted baker, I dont know the particular type of ted baker it is but it's the one with the blue can.Can I also ask why you are not fond of lynx?

Why? It smells horrible, and reminds me of being 13 and surrounded by hormonal teenaged boys who think 'deodorant' = shower + antiperspirant. The layering of B.O and Lynx is burned into my psyche. It may have added to my lesbianism tbh. ;) But in all seriousness, to me they smell cheap and they are a lazy option. I have yet to smell one that I like. Pretty much all of my (straight) female friends find Lynx a bit of a turn-off.

Ugh any Lynx smells like a secondary school changing room, don't do it! There's lots of other body sprays/deodorants etc out there, go for any of them!

...so recommend a product ... and an outlet where it can be purchased!

Can't say I ever saw a Ted Baker product....

Ted baker in boots, local pharmacys, shaws... I know I've seen it loads in Kildare and Carlow.

Hackett likewise, although less easy to pick up.

Tbh though, I reckon once you're past the age of 15/16 you should be edging away from body sprays and moving towards using and antiperspirant like Sure or Nivea, and using cologne or perfume. Spend some time finding out what works with your skin chemistry. Don't just buy a designer or name scent. Try out places like Molton Brown etc for their own scents.

Do what I do if you are going on a date visit Boots and they have the sample bottles of €60-€80 fragrances in store spray as much on you as you can. The nicest Lynx btw were the limited edition Music Star and Inca. Pulse, and Touch

Lol no I buy cheap mouthwash in Lidl for that does the job.

Last week I finally met up with a girl I knew from Facebook few months who is like really anti-smoking drinking etc and she is trying to get me to quit she says "So hows the quitting smoking going?" Oh I haven't had a smoke in days love i feel great :D as soon as I left her place the next morning smoked like 6 cigarettes in a row at the quay thank **** I had Nicorette gum for 15 hours.

lidl mouthwash, classy! you're really painting an attractive picture here! I'd say get some grown up aftershave and pick up a smoker's mouthwash while you're at it, works like a charm!

Well see there is not many big shopping names around Cavan! I do use anti-perspirant and deodrant after a shower.I would use aftershave but it's too feckin expensive, I have a few ted baker aftershaves but they came in a very small box of four that my parents gave to me for christmass. Also, I am fifteen..

Fair enough- you have to work with what you've got! You'd be surprised what you'll find in the local pharmacies though, especially in the run up to Christmas that starts now. Lots of box sets from different makers. Have a dig around. And those small bottles give you an idea if how much you should be using. Take the bottle, put it right on your wrist, and tilt until the liquid hits your skin. Then turn your wrist right way up again and repeat on the other wrist. Do the same on your finger and wipe that on the back of your neck. That's all you need of stuff like that. You see lads shaking a whole load out onto their palms and slapping it on their neck. NO. That's far too much.

Also try out some of the cheaper 'classic' stuff like Old Spice, 4711, Badedas. Ok they might not be trendy, but you won't smell like every other lad your age, and some of those smells are really gorgeous!!!

If you are up for a trying something different, I say abandon those stinky sprays like lynx and get yourself a quality cologne: Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille, Guerlain Spiritueuse Double Vanille etc. (Don't be put off by vanilla, these are amazing men's fragrances-the women in your life will appreciate it :D). If it's a matter of body odor, well I don't know what to tell you other than fragrance over funk is really, really unpleasant.

You may find Tom Ford at Harvey Nichols. Guerlain may be harder to find here but a call to Brown Thomas or HN, could confirm.

While I agree Tom Ford is amazing, I doubt it's within a 15 year olds budget. If anyone is interested, afaik Brown Thomas and Harvey Nicholls are the only registered sellers of Tom Ford in Ireland. I would highly recommend trying them out if you can, most of his scents are like catnip to women, and men tbh. Sex in a bottle. Particularly Black Orchid and Grey Vetevier. The lime is good too.

But yeah, key thing with the aftershave/ colognes you buy in spray bottles is use as little as possible. You should only be able to smell the scent off you when you get within your personal space. If people can smell you when you've left the room it's a bad thing. Plus it's a waste of an expensive product. These days aftershave isn't really for using "after shaving", try an after shave moisturiser or something instead. Better for your skin than pouring on alcohol!!!

Aw man I hate Lynx. My brother used to spray it all over my room to "punish me" if we ever had fights when we were teenagers..because he knew how much I hated it!

Well he must of used some ****e lynx.I can agree that some lynx is awful but personaly I think Dark Temptation (the chocolate one), Attract and Africa are sexy but there's an awful lot of lynx I dont know about that could be pure crap because I usually only buy them 3 because I dont want to risk buying a terrible one.

Hackett is outstanding, shame the shops in Ireland only stock rubbish.
