    Beef Technology Adoption Programme, if you see "BTAP qualifying event" or similar on an event it means that a farmer in BTAP who attends the event can put it down on their list of events/walks they need to attend. In STAP I had to attend four farm walks in our group, or three walks in our group plus one National event like the sheep do in Athenry back in June.

    Sorry that came out more long winded than I anticipated.

    no hassle just seen a sign outside a farm a mile or so down the road from me and was just wondering. It wasnt there this morning

    More local I'd say, there are two STAP groups in Connemara alone, never mind the quare lot over in the East.

    I have one next week and have to say its brilliant to make you get your finger out and sort out some of the odds and ends that keep getting put on the long finger.

    Come on ahead. some can be really interesting others sometime seem dull but all in all i enjoy them and try to implement some of the measures at least. I am expeting a roasting off the facilitator though for probably not being as agreeable as most.
