I have two old style brown logbooks, still in the previous owners names. They are for two landcruisers that are sitting for eight years in my back garden.Where do i send these to get myself registered as the owner.Need to do this so i can declare them off the road.

you don't need to do anything until such time you want to tax them and put them into your name

I'd say give your local motor tax office a ring. They should be able to tell you what you need to do.

Yeah for old school logbooks it's a different procedure to nowadays.
    Motor tax office will help.

Nobody would answer the phone in my local (Meath) tax office. I filled out an rf200 for each vehicle and have posted them to meath, hope this works as the rf200 states that the previous owner should have sent the log book to their local office (tipp).
