    Hi,

My daughter will be travelling abroad for the next year or two. I am concerned that she will have money just sitting in her account while abroad.

Would you recommend any precautions? Such as taking out insurance against fraud etc?

    Hi rockyVII,

There are a number of ways your daughter can bank while she's abroad. If she's registered for 365Online, she can view transactions and balances, make payments and receive correspondence from us. We also have a mobile banking app.

We can understand your concerns, especially if this is her first time going travelling. We wouldn't be able to offer any advice on insurance polices. Your daughter would be best to contact her branch, to speak with a customer adviser.

The customer adviser can discuss your daughter's needs while she's travelling and will be able to advise her accordingly.

Branch contact details can be found here

    Thanks for getting in touch
    Michelle
