Hi. Has anyone been here and what did they think (ski area, expensive?, nightlife too mental?, too germanic oriented?)?
Looking for a St.Anton alternative and am considering Ischgl or here.

Huge ski area with not one but 2 glaciers, home to the First world Cup GS race of the year for the boys and girls and trust me it is plenty steep!!! Nightlife is pretty good basically concentrated on a mile long strip in the town. It is a serious party town and it is hard to avoid but well worth it

Stay on the side away from the mountain base its quieter. Very similar to Ischgl but a little quieter and less Germanic.

Thanks. All things considered would you prefer ischgl or solden?

1/2 a dozen of one and the other to be honest. Would be Ischgl for me every time as its a much better terrain resort for the type of skiing I prefer
