    Hi all,

Car wouldnt start this morning, I hit the fuel pump and a smack and it started up. Brought it to the garage and he is after quoting me 195 for a new fuel pump, plus 100 for labor. So looking at around 300. My first thought is that its way to expensive? What do ye think?

I just looked on micksgarage, and a pump for the 1.4 90hp 2004 corsa is 122 euro delivered. On a Corsa the pump is under the bench seats, so you have to take out the bench. It is easy to access the pump then! Any decent mechanic could do the job in 40 minutes.
